THE PRIZE:
I am going to be putting together an order of yarn for myself from KnitPicks, and would like to share a pair of my hand-knitted socks (see example photo above) with one lucky winner!
The self-striping yarn is a merino wool/nylon blend. This is my first choice of yarn to use, HOWEVER if you are allergic to wool or you don’t use animal products you can choose UP TO THREE of the solid colors, which are a cotton/acrylic blend, and I’ll make striped socks out of them (if you just want solid color cotton/acrylic socks that’s fine too but stripes are more fun!)
I will make these to size, so whether you’ve got tiny feet, long feet, narrow feet, wide feet, skinny calves, thick ankles, whatever, I can make them to fit. They’ll probably be about mid calf length. I’ll need to know your shoe size (and please let me know if it’s men’s or women’s sizes and which country’s sizing you’re using) and if your feet/calves are wider or narrower than average.

Two more weeks on this, and an additional note.
Due to the fact I have recently acquired a kitten, I will need to know if the winner is allergic to cats. If you ARE, it’s fine, you can still win! I’ll just be knitting your socks while I’m at work where the yarn will have no contact with the kitten or her fur or anything. I’ll just need to know before I bring the yarn into my apartment and unpack it and stuff.
